Copyright & DMCA · pre-launch draft

Respect for student work and everyone else’s work.

Students should only upload material they have the right to use. Vantage will operate a formal copyright process before public launch.

User content

Users are responsible for ensuring their uploads do not infringe another person’s copyright or other rights. Do not upload pirated essays, private letters, copyrighted guidance materials, or content you are not authorized to use.

DMCA process before launch

Before public launch, Vantage will name and register a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office, publish a notice-and-takedown procedure, support valid counter-notices, and adopt a repeat-infringer policy. This page will be replaced with the agent’s public contact details and the formal notice requirements once the legal entity is finalized.

Reporting concerns now

If you believe material in a Vantage development environment infringes your rights, email hello@meetvantage.app with enough detail to identify the work and the location of the material. This inbox is not yet a formal registered DMCA agent address.

Repeat infringement

The final policy will permit Vantage to remove or disable access to reported material and, where appropriate, suspend or terminate repeat infringers.
